Two styles of acupuncture are offered. Chinese acupuncture utilizes traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis. This involves discussion of the symptoms followed by an assessment of the tongue and pulse. Needles are then inserted and retained for 20-30 minutes. Japanese acupuncture utilizes Toyo Hara (abdominal) diagnosis. The front of the body is treated by shallow needle insertion with the use of Ion pumping Cords. Then the back of the body is treated with various moxa techniques.
